Memories are such an important part of our lives and vacations are an ideal time to indulge them. That is why the city of Branson is proud to offer its visitors The Roy Rogers/ Dale Evans Museum, located right off of Missouri’s famous 76 Music Highway. A life-sized statue of Roy’s trusty pal Trigger, recognizably reared up on his hind legs, resides in front of the museum to help you tell the museum and the nearby Celebration City amusement park apart from one another. The museum moved to Branson in 2003 from its previous location in Victorville, CA. It’s hard to think of a city more appreciative of Roy and Dale’s American, hardworking values than Branson. Life on the prairie isn’t always easy but, for those of us who adored idols like Roy Rogers, it is always something to be cherished, sung about, yodeled about, and shared with family and friends. At The Roy Rogers/ Dale Evans Museum you’ll be hard pressed to exhaust one of America’s most beloved family’s collection of mementoes: photographs, letters from friends and fans alike, not to mention items from Roy’s childhood, such as the car that carried his family west from Ohio before their great cinematic and musical talent was discovered. On your Branson Vacation, you’ll have time to enjoy other people’s memories, meanwhile creating your own.
