Q: What does this page (the Service Provider's Ask Me tab) show?
This page displays public questions and answers between a Service Provider and other Members. You may post a public question as long as you are logged into the NotAProblem system. To find out more about this Service Provider, feel free to click on the other tabs within this page. Come and join our friendly community today and see your worries disappear.
Q: What does the Call Now! symbol do?
The Call Now! symbol allows any user (whether logged in or not) to view a Service Provider's telephone number and address. Down the road, we intend to be able to directly connected a user to a particular Provider via phone. However, at this moment, we are only able to provide each user with the Service Provider's telephone number and address (the ability to connect two parties via phone is still a work in progress).
The stars are used to represent a Service Provider's reputation. NotAProblem uses a four star rating system. The more stars, the higher the reputation. The stars (Reputation) are calculated based on reviews from Buyers who have previously hired Service Providers.
Q: What is Price?
Price is a relative measure of how expensive other Buyers have found this Provider's service. NotAProblem uses a number rating system ranging from 0 to 4 (carried to one decimal place). The higher the number, the higher the cost to hire a Service Provider. Price is calculated based on reviews from Buyers who have previously hired Service Providers.
Q: What is Quality?
Quality reflects the grade of excellence delivered by a Service Provider. The numbers 0 to 4 are used to reflect Quality (and are carried to one decimal place). The higher the number, the more impressed a Buyer has been with the quality of work received for a given project. If you would like to find a Service Provider who delivers superior work then look for a Service Provider with a larger number next to Quality. Quality is calculated based on reviews from Buyers who have previously hired Service Providers.
Q: What is Value?
Value is a relative measure. It is the intersection between the cost of a Service Provider and the work quality received by a Buyer. The numbers 0 to 4 are used to reflect Value (and are carried to one decimal place). The higher the number, the more value Buyers thought they received from a Service Provider. Value is calculated based on reviews from Buyers who have previously hired Service Providers.
Q: What is Satisfaction?
Satisfaction reflects a Buyer's happiness with a Service Provider's work. The numbers 0 to 4 are used to reflect Satisfaction (and are carried to one decimal place). The higher the number, the more satisfied Buyers were with a Provider's work. Satisfaction is calculated based on reviews from Buyers who have previously hired Service Providers.
Q: How do I post a question to a Service Provider?
To post a question to a Service Provider, you must first be logged into NotAProblem. If you are not logged in, click the Login link located on the top right-hand corner of every page. Once logged in, click the "Post a question" link under the Service Provider's Ask Me tab. These questions and answers are public and are able to be seen by all. The Service Provider is then able to come back to their Ask Me tab and respond to any public questions. Private messages are also able to be sent by clicking the Message icon. Messages sent privately are visible only between two corresponding Members. To read and respond to private messages, please go to the My Account section and click the Messages tab. Again, you must be logged in to send private messages.
Q: Why are some Ask Me tabs blank?
If an Ask Me tab is blank, their are no public answers and questions.
Q: What is displayed on the Profile tab?
Q: What is displayed on the Deals tab?The Profile tab displays information about the Service Provider.
The Deals tab displays all deals being offered to Buyers by a particular Service Provider.
Q: What is displayed on the Projects tab?
The Projects tab displays the current & completed projects of a Service Provider.
Q: What is on the Reputation tab?
The Reputation tab allows Members to see feedback given by Buyers to this Service Provider (and vice-versa) for given business transactions. This allows Members to get a feeling of what it would be like to work with either party (although the focus is primarily on the Service Provider).
Q: What is a Bookmark?
A Bookmark is a way for Members to save links to a Provider's profile, a Buyer's profile, a Service Request's details page, or a Deal's details page to view at a later time. Any item that is bookmarked (by clicking on the bookmark icon), will be saved in the My Account area under the Bookmarks tab. This allows a Service Provider or a Buyer to easily see and browse through their saved items. To remove a bookmark from your account, click the unbookmark icon on each respective page, or go into the My Account tab and click the remove button on the Bookmarks tab.
Q: What is a Message?
A Message is private correspondence (whether it be a comment, question or statement) with another Member. Messages are not visible to the public. Click the Message icon to send a private message. To read and respond to private messages, please go to the My Account section and click the Messages tab.
Q: What is Send to Friend?
Send to Friend is a way to forward a page's link to another individual via email. Your friend will receive an email from NotAProblem containing a link to your page of interest. Click the Send to Friend icon to start this process.
Q: What is Request Quote?
Request Quote is a way for Buyers to request pricing from Service Providers. Quotes are not binding on either Buyers or Service Providers until accepted, and Buyers are never obligated to accept the lowest quote. Click Request Quote to start this process.
Q: What is Submit Quote?
Submit Quote is a way for Service Providers to submit pricing information to Buyers. When a Buyer has work to be completed, they post a request for help on a particular type of work. The request for help is posted on our Requests tab. At this time, a Service Provider may place a quote to the Buyer. Click Submit Quote on any details page of a request to start this process.
Q: What is Grab Deal?
Grab Deal is a way for Buyers to accept a special offer from a Service Provider. Sometimes businesses or business oriented individuals offer discounted prices, or specials, with regards to their line of work. NotAProblem places these specials within our Deals section. Click on the Grab Deal icon on any details page of a deal to accept the offer of a particular Service Provider and start the Grab Deal process.
