Architecture of The Midwest

Missouri hosts the largest memorial in the United States. Eero Saarinen, a Finnish-American architect, designed The Gateway Arch in St. Louis. The height of the world-renowned building peaks at 630 feet, the same distance that stretches between its bases. The hollow center of the building is navigable by one-thousand-step staircases or a tram. An observation room occupies the top, where visitors can gaze out at the Mississippi River and the countryside through windows barely visible from the ground. Branson Missouri also has some really historic buildings that are a must see!
