Edwards Mill
Grist Mill
Edwards Mill is a twelve-foot water wheel turned by runoff water from the neighboring Lake Honor. Student workers from the College of the Ozarks have taken on many responsibilities at the mill, including grinding whole-grain meal and flour which you can purchase during your visit. The second floor of the mill has been converted to a weaving studio, likewise managed by students, and visitors are free to observe the production of traditional, handwoven baskets, rugs, place-mats and shawls. The greenhouses next door, also free to the public, boast a nursery of 7,0000 orchids! Branson MO is proud to offer visitors a glimpse of the extraordinary cultural underpinnings of Ozark life at Edwards Mill.
